Dove Dry Spray Deodorant Review

Hi everyone!

I recently joined Influenster and qualified for the Unilever Voxbox! I received a Dove Dry Spray deodorant for free to try out and review. I just tried the product for the first time today, and so far I am impressed! Here is what the product looks like:

It comes in an aerosol can that you shake and spray on to your underarms and claims to last 48 hours. I can't say that I tried it out for 48 hours since I do shower every day, but I will say that it lasted all day and I did not feel the need to reapply. The spray felt instantly dry when I put it on and didn't leave any white marks on my shirt (which was black!). It has a light and fresh scent that I found pleasant and not at all overpowering.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this deodorant! I thought it was long-lasting and I really liked how quickly it dried. My only concern is that it comes in an aerosol can, so I don't think it would be as good for airplane travel.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5
Pros: Lasts all day, fast drying, pleasant scent
Cons: Aerosol container

If you have any other questions or if you have tried this product, let me know in the comments!

Disclaimer: I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. The review is completely my own opinion and I am not sponsored in any way.

Best,
Anna

30 Day Lipstick Challenge!

I've been interested in trying out different ways to use all of my makeup, since I don't want any of it to go to waste. I stumbled upon a video by Elle S with a challenge that sounded like tons of fun since I am a huge lip product junkie! The challenge is titled "30 Day Lipstick Challenge" and is rather self-explanatory - each day for 30 days you use a different lipstick from your makeup stash. The point is to get yourself using colors you may have forgotten about.

Here's a link to her video where she explains the challenge: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPuti-1MPMY

Jewelry Creations

So I have recently gotten into jewelry making...nothing fancy, just some simple beadwork at this point. I love it! It's great for stress relief, and I'm hoping to hone my skills to make some more complicated stuff in the future.

Here are four pairs of earrings that I have made recently (sorry for poor picture quality):

First pair with red beads and silver rose beads:

Second pair with black beads and silver flowers:

Third pair with purple bicone and clear beads:

Finally, fourth pair with blue and silver beads (not sure why it looks like gold metal, but I promise it's silver...):

The designs are simple thus far, but I'm happy with the way they came out! I don't profess to be any sort of expert, so if anyone has any tips for jewelry making or beadwork, please let me know! Otherwise, what do you guys think of the earrings? Are they something you would wear? Any suggestions are welcome!

Best,
Anna

An Introduction...

Hi everyone!

My name is Anna, and welcome to my blog, The Coffee Chronicle, which shall be filled with all sorts of things! If you are looking for posts about beauty, fashion, lifestyle, jewelry making, or medical school, look no further. Random though the list of topics may be, they are all things that I quite enjoy!

A note on the title: I am currently in my third year of medical school, and coffee is pretty much my constant companion and the only thing keeping me awake at times. Good thing I also like the flavor. :)

I will try to update this blog as much as I can, and I will try to have a variety of interesting posts. If you have any requests, please comment! I would love to see any ideas that you can come up with.

Feel free to comment, subscribe, or just read the posts. :)
